Traveling can heal you: It’s always an adventure to imagine being treated in a country other than your own, finding the right person, the right professionals, and above all putting aside your fears and preconceptions.

Heading to Istanbul, we land at Europe’s largest airport, and already we feel a sense of modernity, cleanliness, and friendliness.

We are welcomed by Jabbar, a member of the Dentakay Marketing & Communication team , and transported in a high-end car with VIP service where the goal is to make us feel as good as possible, like  Dentakay patients . For 3 days we will be accommodated in high-end hotels between Istanbul and Antalya, 2 of the different locations where the luxurious Dentakay
clinics are located.

A journey that will combine visits to three clinics with the tourist discoveries of a modern and traditional country – 
Turkey , Istanbul , between Europe and Asia, between the past and the future, separated by the Bosphorus Strait … An invitation to dream. Then a stopover in Antalya, a famous seaside city for its tourism and its ancient arenas.

Dentakay ‘s marketing and communications team, led by Barış and his colleagues Meryem and Jabbar, have done everything they can to ensure this immersion is as accurate and representative as possible of their magnificent country and what  Dentakay has to offer. We thank them in advance!

Istanbul emanates a kind of positive energy that shows a country in real evolution, a megalopolis (26 times the surface area of ​​Paris) with historic districts where the distant call to prayer from the majestic mosques lulls us into a romantic elsewhere, and others where buildings rise up whose ground floors house malls with luxury boutiques and very elegant restaurants.

The cluster of minarets erected in spires are like hands reaching toward the sky. A trip to Turkey means enjoying visits to magnificent sites, but also discovering refined and rich cuisine; it’s a true invitation to travel…

After a restful night at the Mövenpick Istanbul Marmara Sea Hotel  , we were accompanied by Meryem who took us to the first clinic in Istanbul, mainly reserved for French patients.

We talk with patients who experienced this as a rebirth, a sort of “on/off” in their lives. They came for a week and praised the merits of Dentakay, for the professionalism and support, the care and precise translation, the services throughout the stay and the tourist aspect because everything is done to make anxieties disappear.

We had the pleasure of talking with the founders of Dentakay – Being a couple in entrepreneurship is a strength, Onur and Gülay Akay each have their specificities but are totally complementary, in the expansion of the company, the precise recruitment with profiles of gifted, expert dental surgeon doctors, with more than 5 years of experience and a great artistic sense. I voluntarily call them “ Dent-Artist ”. We followed the dental check-up like the other patients with 3D radio scan, smile photographs, examinations with 4 doctors including Dr. Gülay Akay , among the 60 dental specialists.

We observed extremely detailed and precise analyses of our two cases, with advice, solutions, care, etc. And a constant concern for anticipation to block future oral and dental problems; initially orthodontics, bruxism, then aesthetics.

Health is the priority, even if the result is magnificent and identical to their advertisements. The photos are not retouched for a magical effect; this magic and talent are very real, as we saw with patients Laurence & Christophe, who came from France and were absolutely delighted with this experience.

Everything is “tailor-made”, each action is explained and validated by the patient, the care, the price and the payment facilities offered, the wishes, the psychological impact, the traceability of the implants (Swiss made) with bar code, Qr code, references… 

They are extremely specialized in implantology and its monitoring with techniques specific to  Dentakay including “zygomatic implants” .
