Hiba Tawaji and Ibrahim Maalouf celebrate love “À LA FRANÇAISE”
For Valentine’s Day, the French-Lebanese star exclusively unveils the first single from an album lovingly crafted as a duet with her life partner, musician and producer Ibrahim Maalouf. What more could you ask for on Valentine’s Day!

The artistic duo celebrates love with a cover of Francis Cabrel’s famous song “Je t’aimais, je t’aime, je t’aimerai” (I loved you, I love you, I will love you), the first single from an album slated for release in late 2026! The album, “À LA FRANÇAISE” (In the French Style), scheduled for September 18, 2026, is an elegant and refined tribute to French chanson, blending jazz, classical, and oriental influences.

The duo reinterprets the greatest masterpieces of the Francophone repertoire in their own unique style. On Valentine’s Day, Hiba Tawaji and Ibrahim Maalouf offer their fans and their adopted country a little gem: their very first single! With Hiba Tawaji’s powerful and moving voice, enhanced by Ibrahim Maalouf’s instantly recognizable quarter-tone trumpet, the prestigious French Republican Guard Symphony Orchestra crowns this opus with an irresistibly cinematic touch.
The album “À LA FRANÇAISE” is scheduled for release on September 18, 2026.

Hiba Tawaji and Ibrahim Maalouf had already caused a sensation with their duet of Edith Piaf’s “La Vie en rose” during the major ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Victory of May 8, 1945, broadcast live on France TV to millions of viewers. It was a powerfully symbolic performance that left a lasting impression.
A true star in the Middle East and Arab countries, Hiba Tawaji has sung in the most prestigious venues in the region. Considered one of the finest voices of her generation, she also quickly won the hearts of French audiences. On December 7, 2024, she will participate in the historic reopening ceremony of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, accompanied by the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel.

A few months earlier, she gave her first major concert in France on the prestigious stage of the Olympia, with exceptional guests including Florent Pagny, Lara Fabian, Matthieu Chedid, Ycare, and Madame Monsieur. Among her most prestigious collaborations are Andrea Bocelli and the renowned American quintet Pentatonix, for a feature on their latest Grammy-nominated album. Ibrahim Maalouf is one of the few French artists to have been nominated for two consecutive Grammy Awards. A true virtuoso, over more than 20 years he has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry: Toumani Diabat, Sting, Angélique Kidjo, A$AP Rocky, Josh Groban, De La Soul, the Orchestre National de France, Juliette Gréco, Sharon Stone, Matthieu Chedid, Monica Bellucci, and many others. These collaborations, as prestigious as they are diverse, make him a true anomaly in the cultural and musical landscape. Accustomed to filling the world’s largest venues, his meeting in 2017 with Quincy Jones, who became his manager in the United States, was decisive.
To celebrate his 20-year career, Ibrahim Maalouf is now preparing to make history with the largest instrumental jazz concert ever organized, on April 10, 2027, at Paris La Défense Arena. The meeting of the musical worlds of these two artists promises to be as moving as it is masterful.
The couple will be touring from the end of 2026*

HIBA TAWAJI
Since 2008, Hiba Tawaji has established herself as a leading figure in the Arab world, unanimously acclaimed for her extraordinary career and for her breathtakingly powerful voice, as well as for her remarkably diverse artistic personality. In 2024, a few months after a memorable concert at the legendary Olympia in Paris, she made history by singing under the direction of maestro Gustavo Dudamel, accompanied by the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, at the reopening of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.

An exceptional event watched by millions of viewers worldwide. Her eclectic style has led her to collaborate with renowned artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Lara Fabian, Florent Pagny, Luis Fonsi, Pentatonix, Matthieu Chédid, and many others, thus confirming her status as an exceptional artist. In 2017, she made history by becoming the first female artist to perform in Saudi Arabia, a concert hailed as a historic event by international media. Two years later, in 2019, Disney chose her to voice Jasmine in the French version of the blockbuster Aladdin. With four albums to her credit, and after playing the role of Esmeralda in the highly anticipated revival of the world’s most popular French musical, “Notre Dame de Paris,” Lebanese singer Hiba Tawaji has forged a unique path, far removed from clichés, asserting an artistic identity both rooted in her Arab heritage and resolutely open to the world. Her performances, acclaimed for their historical and universal significance, highlight her openness and her presence at major cultural events worldwide. Discovered by Oussama Rahbani, one of the Middle East’s most influential producers and composers, she transcends borders by singing in Arabic, French, and English on the world’s most prestigious stages. Today, she is recognized as one of the most influential and respected voices of her generation.
IBRAHIM MAALOUF
Dubbed a “virtuoso” by The New York Times, superstar trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf has spent his career crossing borders and blurring genres, blending jazz, pop, classical, electronic, Middle Eastern, and African influences in an explosive intercultural whirlwind. Born amidst a deadly civil war, Maalouf fled Beirut with his family as a child and spent his formative years in France, where he fell in love with the power of music to transcend geography and language.

After winning a series of prestigious international trumpet competitions, Ibrahim Maalouf began composing his own music, releasing more than a dozen acclaimed albums and establishing himself as a household name in his adopted homeland. In the last decade alone, he has performed in 40 countries, sold out venues from Paris to Istanbul, been discovered by Quincy Jones, appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, raised millions for charity, and collaborated with artists as diverse as Wynton Marsalis, Jon Batiste, Josh Groban, and Sting. In 2021, Ibrahim Maalouf performed in front of the Eiffel Tower on Bastille Day before an audience of six million people. In 2022, he collaborated with Angélique Kidjo on Queen of Sheba, a seven-movement symphonic suite with lyrics sung in Yoruba, a West African language, which earned him his first-ever Grammy Award nomination for Best World Music Album. On one of his most recent albums, Capacity to Love, Ibrahim Maalouf once again broke down barriers by collaborating with a host of hip-hop and R&B artists from around the world for a revealing exploration of identity, community, and unity. The track “Todo Colores” from this album, featuring Cimafunk & Tank and the Bangas, earned him his second Grammy Award nomination (for the second consecutive year) for Best World Music Performance. In November 2023, he sold out the Accor Arena in Paris for the third time, performing to over 17,000 people.
